Information AntHillPress Collects
AntHillPress's main purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with an enjoyable, customized, and efficient advertising experience. It is our policy never to willfully disclose any personal information about our Clients or Community Members to the general public without our Clients' or Members' consent. AntHillPress collects certain information from you when you register at the AntHillPress site. We collect your full name, valid telephone number, contact/billing information, e-mail address and shipping address. Any additional information collected will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. AntHillPress collects some information from your browser. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address. Basically your IP address helps us in identifying you and your specific needs. AntHillPress also uses "cookies", which are software tags that are stored by your browser onto your hard drive, and "clear gifs" to obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses AntHillPress and our participating vendors' sites. Briefly, cookies are small files that we transfer to your computer's hard drive or your Web browser memory to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide convenience to you. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and may be used to track the online movements of Web users or to let us know if you have opened an e-mail that we sent you. Examples of the information we collect and analyze in this manner include the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet, computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; your behavior on the AntHillPress Website and related services, including the products and merchants you view or searched for, as well as the URL you come from and go to next (whether this URL is on our site or not); cookie number; and participating merchants you visit. The cookies and clear gifs that we use do not contain and are not tied to personally identifiable information about you. These bits of information are general in nature and they allow us to customize the AntHillPress site to fit your specific needs. Cookies also allow you to log onto or navigate through specific sections of the AntHillPress site without having to re-enter certain information. You can decline the use of cookies, if any, through your browser. As always, your data remains strictly confidential and is never willingly shared with third parties.

Update: 2008 - We also use third party advertisements on Anthillpress.com to support our site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

Update: 2009 - DoubleClick DART cookies We also may use DART cookies for ad serving through Google’s DoubleClick, which places a cookie on your computer when you are browsing the web and visit a site using DoubleClick advertising (including some Google AdSense advertisements). This cookie is used to serve ads specific to you and your interests (”interest based targeting”). The ads served will be targeted based on your previous browsing history (For example, if you have been viewing sites about visiting Las Vegas, you may see Las Vegas hotel advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as on a site about hockey). DART uses “non personally identifiable information”. It does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers. You can opt-out of this ad serving on all sites using this advertising by visiting http://www.doubleclick.com/privacy/dart_adserving.aspx

Use of Your Information
The information collected from AntHillPress Clients and Community Members is used to improve product offerings, customize the AntHillPress site's content and layout, and for marketing and statistical data. Occasionally, AntHillPress will send you e-mails about new services or promotions. You can always opt out of receiving any information from AntHillPress.

Access to Your Information
AntHillPress's first priority is to keep your personal information private and confidential. As previously stated, AntHillPress will not willfully disclose your personal information to third parties, nor sell or rent your personal information to anyone else. Security
In an effort to keep your information confidential, AntHillPress provides its Clients Community Members with the highest industry standards for secure servers-Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and firewalls. Unfortunately perfect security does not exist on the Internet (or elsewhere in the real world, for that matter) so we cannot guarantee that your information cannot be purloined. However, we will do our best in accordance with industry standards to continue to ensure the security of your private information. Minors
Minors (defined as those under the age of 18) are not eligible to become AntHillPress Clients, but may use the AntHillPress site through a parent or guardian who is a Client. The free community of Justmakeiteasy.com allows members 13+.
